A collection of tattoos celebrating the icons and history of New York City. The Wheatsheaf: To symbolise the earliest crop to be cultivated in colonial NYC. Manhattan was known as America’s breadbasket. The Eastern Bluebird is a symbol of NYC, and Excelsior ‘EVER UPWARD’ is the motto of New York State. The NYC Seal is also a tattoo, as is the iconic music venue CBGB logo. A playful nod to The Statue of Liberty is in the distance.
